This course begins with an introduction of the terms and basic concepts of business law with a focus on the categories of law, the US Court System, contracts, employment law, and employment discrimination. The course will continue to build a foundation of business law with a focus on these areas of the law.. Students will then explore real world application of laws to critically analyze business situations with a focus on the US Legal System, Alternative Dispute Resolution, crimes, torts, contracts, employment law, and employment discrimination.
