Entrepreneurship I begins with providing an understanding of the entrepreneurial journey to discover owning a business as a career choice. This course provides understanding of the steps, decisions, and actions in the process of becoming an entrepreneur and entrepreneurial enterprise covering such things as items needed, choosing a location, and hiring for a new business enterprise. Students will understand the components and importance of the business plan, networking, business structures and legal considerations as well as managing risks.
