This course begins with a focus on major themes, tools, resources and purpose of initial strategic planning. Participants will focus on organizational tools that promote strategic initiatives while exploring leadership’s role in the creation and management of organizational strategy. This course also focuses on the theoretical approaches to strategic planning and management. Participants will examine various theoretical concepts and techniques to deploy strategy. Participants will further investigate the relationship between, people, resources and strategic objectives.
